Building on Previous Work

Previous work from the MRC- funded X-NET project (www.x-net.bio) found that, despite investment, computational and interdisciplinary researchers faced hostility and a lack of integration and support within biomedical research. The INTEGRATE project aims to build on this work to provide evidence to higher education institutes and funders on initiatives designed to encourage, support and reward data scientists in biomedical research, and drive better collaboration across UK biomedical science.

Our goal is to enable a supportive and sustainable culture that fully includes data scientists and accelerates the impact of data science in biomedicine.
